The NASCAR Cup Series season continues on Sunday with 2024 EchoPark Automotive 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. The green flag drops at 3 p.m. ET and this is the ninth race on the NASCAR schedule. For the 2024 EchoPark Automotive 400, the model is high on Joey Logano, even though he's a 16-1 longshot in the latest 2024 NASCAR at Texas odds. He's a target for anyone looking for a huge payday. After getting off to a sluggish start in which he finished outside the top 20 in four of his first five races, Logano has finished 11th or better in his last three starts and is up to 14th in the NASCAR standings.
That includes a second-place finish in Richmond and a sixth-place finish in Martinsville last week in which he led 84 laps. Logano was a winner in Texas at the 2014 Duck Commander 500 and he's regularly run near the front on the 1.5-mile quad-oval throughout his career, racking up 12 top-five finishes there in 28 career Cup starts. That includes a runner-up finish at Texas in 2022 and another in 2016.
Another massive shocker: Ryan Blaney, the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion and one of the top Vegas favorites, stumbles big-time and barely cracks the top 10.
