Air Fryer Hand Pies Recipe - S'Mores, Blueberry, Caramel Apple, Cherry (2)Let’s address the two elephants in the room first:

What is an air fryer?

An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that cooks food by circulating hot air around the food. Aka the food gets “fried” by hot air.

I’m never one for buying the latest and greatest kitchen toys (I’m such a minimalist), but I’m actually really loving our air fryer.

It’s SO much healthier than deep frying, but food gets crispier than “oven fried” recipes.

What are air fryer hand pies?

I had never had a hand pie before I made these and I absolutely LOVE them.

I’m actually not the biggest fan of pie *gasp! I know*, but I’m crazy obsessed with these hand pies.

They’re basically portable pies that are individual sized AND you don’t need utensils to eat them.

Plus, I love the filling to crust ratio.

Now.

You ready to make some pie?!

Can i bake hand pies?

Yes! I’d suggest 400 degrees F for about 15-20 minutes. Start watching them halfway through so they don’t get too brown!

Is that not SO easy?!

And delicious.

Flakey, perfectly cooked pie crust filled with all your favorite fillings!

While I love them all, I’m a real sucker for the s’mores flavor. 🙂
